Country sausage Patties

  1. Heat a large non-stick skillet and add 2 tablespoons olive oil (or any oil you like).
  2. Put the 3 cups water in a large bowl.
  3. Add soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, sage, poultry seasoning, cayenne pepper and salt.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add grated onion.
  6. Add oats and pecan meal.
  7. Mix and stir well, mashing mixture with back of the spoon as you stir and mix.
  8. Drop by large spoonfuls into a hot skillet in shape of patties.
  9. Brown well on both sides.
  10. Eat as sausage patties on a biscuit for breakfast, or put a gravy on them and bake them for 15 minutes in 400 degree fahrenheit oven until hot and bubbly.
  11. Serve with mashed potatoes, a vegetable and salad.
