Meatballs in Fried Tomato Sauce

  1. Make the meatballs with the minced beef adding the egg and parsley.
  2. Roll them in breadcrumbs and brown them in a bit of hot oil.
  3. Keep until needed.
  4. Scald and peel the tomatoes
  5. Sautee onion until soft with garlic and a bit of chilli pepper in a bit of olive oil.
  6. Add the tomatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Add parsley and seasoning
  8. Once cooked mash to make the sauce smoother.
  9. It can be blended if preferred
  10. Add the meatballs and cook together for 2 - 3 minutes
  11. Serve with some nice bread
