Barbequed Beef Skewers With Peppercorn Sauce Recipe

  1. Cut beef steaks into chunks, about 1 1/2 inches square.
  2. Cook onion quarters and red pepper, if used, in boiling salted water till tender-crisp, about 2 min.
  3. Drain.
  4. Skewer beef cubes alternated with pcs of onion and red pepper, if used.
  5. Combine the bourbon and melted butter.
  6. Brush beef skewers with the butter mix.
  7. Grill over warm coals 4-8 min, turning to cook all sides till meat is done to your liking.
  8. Meanwhile, pour cream into a heavy saucepan.
  9. Add in the peppercorns.
  10. Bring to a boil.
  11. Boil 1 minute till thick.
  12. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
  13. Serve the barbequed beef skewers with the creamy peppercorn sauce.
