Braised Onion Slices With Bourbon Recipe

  1. Heat butter and oil.
  2. Add in onions and sear on high for 2 min.
  3. Add in salt, pepper and broth.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer 10 to 12 min.
  5. Add in bourbon and cook down for 3 min.
  6. Serving Ideas : Perfect accompaniment for roast beef
  7. NOTES : I traditionally serve prime rib for Christmas.
  8. This is a perfect accompaniment.
