Dannyzs Turkey Pumpkin Chili

  1. Directions:.
  2. Heat the oil in a large Pot over medium heat and saute the onion for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Add the green & yellow bell peppers along with the jalapeno & garlic.
  4. Cook until tender.
  5. Add the turkey and stir, cooking until evenly browned.
  6. Drain the fat off.
  7. Return to the fire and add, tomatoes, pumpkin & black beans (remember to drain & rinse the black beans).
  8. Season with chili powder, chipotle chili powder, pepper & salt.
  9. Reduce heat to simmer for about 30 minutes stirring every 5 to 8 minutes.
  10. Serve topped with low fat cheese a daub of no fat sour cream.
  11. Garnish with a sprinkle of cilantro.
