Sweet and Sticky Spareribs

  1. You will have to cut your rib tips into bite size pieces.
  2. In a large sauce pan, place your bite-sized pieces and cover with water and 1 tablespoon salt.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes until no longer pink.
  4. Drain water and keep ribs in the pan.
  5. In a medium bowl, mix your brown sugar, 1 cup water, soy sauce, corn syrup and garlic.
  6. Whisk well and pour over your ribs.
  7. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  8. Serve garnished with chopped green onions.
  9. This is absolutely delicious.
  10. The recipe can easily be doubled, tripled.
  11. It is great as a side or if you have a buffet or cocktail party.
  12. Delish (thanks, Rachael Ray) and great even over plain white rice with a spoonful of juices.
  13. Oh my goodness, it is good.
