Protein Puppy Chow, Healthy Gingersnap Style

  1. Place almond butter, molasses and coconut oil into a large, microwave-safe bowl and microwave until melted and creamy, about 1 1/2 minutes.
  2. Stir the mixture well to combine and then add in the Chex.
  3. Stir gently until the almond butter mixture coats the cereal.
  4. In a large Ziploc bag, combine protein powder, ginger and cinnamon.
  5. Shake the bag around to make sure the spices get mixed in with the protein powder.
  6. Add the Chex cereal into the bag and shake around until evenly coated in the protein powder/spice mixture.
  7. Pour into a bowl and let cool, so that the almond butter hardens and sets.
