Hamburger Hash Brown Hot Dish Recipe
- 4 c. frzn hash browns
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 med. onion
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn peas
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 6 slices process cheese spread
- 1 (3 ounce.) can French fried onions
- Cover bottom of 9 x 13 inch glass pan which has been buttered with shredded hash browns.
- Brown hamburger and onion in frying pan.
- Drain off fat.
- Place hamburger and onion on top of hash browns.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread peas over hamburger.
- Mix cream of mushroom soup and lowfat milk in bowl, pour over the hash browns, meat and veggies.
- Place cheese on top and cover with foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
- Remove foil and sprinkle French fried onions on top.
- Turn off oven and leave in oven for 15 min.
