Crisco Pound Cake
- 1 cup (225 ml) butter
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) crisco
- 5 large eggs
- 3 cups (700 ml) sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) baking powder
- 1 cup (225 ml) milk
- 2 tsp (10 ml) vanilla
- 3 cups (700 ml) flour
- Cream shortning and gradually add sugar and eggs one at a time.
- Combine baking powder, flour and milk (alternate ending with flour).
- Add vanila.
- Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) F. for one hour.
