Polenta (Or Corn Meal Mush) Recipe
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. cool water
- 3 c. boiling water
- Combine cornmeal, salt and cool water.
- Gradually pour into boiling water, stirring constantly.
- Turn heat down as this will squirt up till all corn meal is added.
- Reduce heat and cover.
- Continue cooking on low heat 15 min, stirring frequently.
- Let set a few min, then spoon in serving plates and sprinkle cheese and spaghetti sauce over it.
