Big and Yummy Choc Chip Cookies
- 50 g butter, softened
- 25 g nutella (or other chocolate spread, e.g. one with coffee)
- 140 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 150 g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 18 teaspoon ground vanilla bean
- 75 g white chocolate chunks
- 75 g milk chocolate pieces
- In a big bowl cream butter, nutella and sugar for about 5 minutes.
- Add the egg and beat it inches.
- In a second bowl combine baking powder, flour and vanilla bean.
- Add this to the wet mixture and mix to combine.
- Fold in both types of chocolate chunks.
- Use your hands to form large round heaps of dough (1 1/2 tbs dough per cookie).
- Flatten slightly on the baking sheet.
- These will spread, so leave enough room between them.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 180C/350F for about 15 minutes.
- Take them out when theyre still a bit soft, theyll crisp up while cooling.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
