Perfect Chocolate Frosting & Filling Recipe

  1. In medium saucepan combine chocolate pcs, cream and butter; stir over medium heat till smooth.
  2. Remove from heat with wire whisk.
  3. Blend 2 1/2 c. sugar.
  4. In bowl set over ice.
  5. Beat till it holds shape.
  6. Filling: Whip cream with sugar and vanilla; chill.
  7. To assemble cake on plate place a layer of cake spread with half of cream.
  8. Place second layer top side down.
  9. Spread with rest of cream.
  10. Place third cake and frost.
  11. Chill at least 1 hour.
