Jelly Pinwheels
- 1 (15 ounce) box refrigerated pie crusts (use just one crust)
- 3 tablespoons apricot jam (or your fav)
- 2 tablespoons walnuts, minced (don't use more as they are just to enhance)
- 12 cup sugar
- Unroll crust.
- Spread the jam almost to the edges.
- Sprinkle walnuts over jam.
- Rollup like a jellyroll.
- Cut into 1/2 inch thick pieces using a serated knife.
- If you have truble cutting, use a little flour on the knife.
- Onto a lightly oiled cookie sheet, place slices leaving about 1/2 inch between each.
- Dunk a glass into the sugar and press slices til almost flat.
- Don't worry about cracks forming.
- Bake 10-12 minutes in a 375 degree oven.
- Turn the tray when done halfway.
