Strawberry Cream Puffs

  1. Cut tops from cream puffs; set aside.
  2. Prepare mousse mix with cold water as directed on package; set aside.
  3. Mash 24 of the berries (or 6 of the berries for trial recipe) with fork.
  4. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Fold into mousse.
  6. Chop half of the remaining strawberries; fold into mousse.
  7. Place remaining strawberries in food processor or blender container.
  8. Add sugar; cover.
  9. Process until pureed; set aside.
  10. Spoon about 1/3 cup of the mousse mixture into each cream puff; cover with top of cream puff.
  11. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  12. Drizzle with 1 Tbsp.
  13. of the strawberry sauce.
