Apple Toasts Recipe
- 4 slc brioche or possibly panettone 1cm thick
- 4 sm apples
- 2 Tbsp. Calvados or possibly similar
- 1 x little caster sugar
- 2 Tbsp. pine nuts
- 1 x little icing sugar vanilla ice cream to serve
- Peel the apples core and slice thinly and sprinkle with Calvados and a little caster sugar.
- Preheat an overhead grill very warm lay the brioche or possibly panettone on the grill pan and cover with the apples and anyjuice they may have made.
- Sprinkle with pine nuts dust with Iclng sugar and place under the grill.
- Cook for 710 min well away from the flame till the sugar has caramelised and the apples are golden brown Serve with ice cream.
