Twelve-Dollar Martini
- 1/2 ounce Pernod
- Ice
- 3 ounces gin
- 3/4 ounce dry vermouth
- 1/2 ounce Scotch, preferably Islay
- 1 lemon twist
- Rinse a chilled martini glass with the Pernod, then pour it out.
- Fill a pint glass with ice.
- Add the gin, vermouth and Scotch.
- Stir well and strain into the prepared martini glass.
- Garnish with the lemon twist.
