Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry over Noodles

  1. Combine the teriyaki and hoisin sauces and the crushed pepper in a large zip-close plastic bag.
  2. Add the steak; squeeze out the air, seal the bag and turn to coat the meat.
  3. Refrigerate, turning the bag occasionally, at least 20 minutes or up to 2 hours.
  4. Rinse the noodles in a colander under warm water to loosen; set aside.
  5. Heat the oil in a nonstick wok or large skillet.
  6. Add the scallions, bell pepper, and garlic.
  7. Stir fry until tender, about 8 minutes.
  8. Add the noodles and water and cook, stirring, 1 minute.
  9. Stir in the beef with it's marinade and the broccoli; bring to just below boiling and simmer 2 minutes.
  10. Serve at once.
