Spiced Potatoes on the Grill
- 6 -7 medium baking potatoes
- 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 14 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Cut potatoes lengthwise into slabs 1/2" to 3/4" thick.
- Brush both sides of potato slabs with olive oil.
- Combine ingredients for seasoning mix, mixing very thoroughly.
- Sprinkle a generous dusting of seasoning mix over both sides of potato slabs.
- Grill over low to medium heat about 7-10 minutes per side or until cooked through and nicely browned on both sides.
- Brush on a little extra olive oil before turning.
