Baked Caramel Popcorn
- 8 -9 quarts popped corn
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup white corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- Pop corn.
- Melt brown sugar and butter.
- Add salt, white syrup and boil for 5 minutes.
- Add 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp soda.
- Pour over popcorn and stir well.
- Put in 250 degree oven and stir every 15 minutes for one hour.
- When out of the oven make sure you stir every 5 minutes to keep kernels from sticking together.
