Raisin oat bars
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3/4 packages of large marshmellows. I did almost a full bag of them. so I put 3\th lol
- 3 cup old fashion oats. unless you want a little less.
- 1 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup crushed pecans
- 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
- 1/4 cup honey
- Either use a glass baking dish and melt butter in the microwave and turn the turntable off.
- About 15 seconds.
- Or use a microwave safe bowl and add butter, microwave 15 seconds.
- Add the marshmellows and stir till coated with the butter.
- Microwave about 20 seconds maybe less.
- When fluffy take out and stir.
- Then hurry up and add the oats.
- Coat it with the marshmellows and add the raisens, nuts, honey and mix very well.
- When done, either coat a cookie sheet with non stick spray or oil.
- Parchment paper will work.
- I had none.
- Then drop the mixer onto the pan and freeze or refrigerate till set a little better.
- So when you take it out you can flatten and shape it.
- Take something flat like a metal spatula and coat it with some nonstick spray and flatten the mixture and cut and shape into small rectangles.
- Refrigerate or freeze them even longer, Then you can wrap them individually with plastic wrap and store them in the fridge.
- They are sooo good.
