Chocolate-Cherry Cookie Pizza
- 1-3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Cherry Flavor Gelatin, divided
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
- 2 oz. (1/2 of 4-oz. pkg.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
- 1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
- Heat oven to 400F.
- Mix flour and baking powder.
- Beat butter in large bowl with mixer until creamy.
- Gradually add sugar then 1 pkg.
- dry gelatin mix, beating after each addition until light and fluffy.
- Blend in egg and vanilla.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture; press onto bottom of 12-inch pizza pan.
- Bake 15 to 17 min.
- or until edge is golden brown.
- Cool completely.
- Meanwhile, add boiling water to remaining gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 min.
- until completely dissolved.
- Stir in cold water.
- Whisk in COOL WHIP.
- Refrigerate 15 to 20 min.
- or until mixture is very thick.
- Melt chocolate as directed on package.
- Spread COOL WHIP mixture over crust; top with pie filling.
- Drizzle with chocolate.
