Velvet Custard Pie Recipe

  1. Thoroughly mix beaten Large eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
  2. Slowly stir into the warm lowfat milk.
  3. (This mix is sufficient for a large pie or possibly 6 or possibly 8 custard c..) Dash the top generously with nutmeg.
  4. Bake in preheated warm oven at 475 degrees for 5 min.
  5. Reduce heat to 425 degrees and bake 10 min longer or possibly till silver knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
  6. Cold before serving.
