Winter Warming Tortellini Soup

  1. Cover and cook garlic, onion,celery, and carrot in butter in a 4 quart Dutch oven over medium-low heat 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Stir in water and bouillon granules.
  3. Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
  4. Stir in tortellini.
  5. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tortellini are tender.
  6. Stir in parsley, pepper, and nutmeg.
  7. Cover and cook 10 minutes more.
  8. Top each serving with cheese.
