Gahboo's Lima Beans
- 2 lbs lima beans, large, dry
- 1 onion, large, texas sweet
- 2 teaspoons Tony Chachere's Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced, jarred
- 12 ounces ham, pieces
- 2 tomatoes, roma chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes, dry
- RInse beans.
- boil beans covered with 1 inch water.
- Add water as needed, cook till al dente.
- Add other ingredients, cook till done.
- Cook and add water balance until your preferred consistency is reached.
