Pecan Pie

  1. Bring syrup, sugar, margarine and flour to boil in saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Boil gently 2 minutes, uncovered, stirring occasionally.
  3. Cool slightly.
  4. Place pecans in pastry shell.
  5. Mix eggs and vanilla in medium bowl.
  6. Gradually stir in cooled syrup mixture.
  7. Pour over pecans.
  8. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  9. Serve with whipped topping.
