Holiday Nuggets

  1. In mixing bowl, cream butter, margarine and sugar; blend in vanilla and almond extracts.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt.
  3. Stir in nuts.
  4. Shape into 1 1/4 inch balls.
  5. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  6. Flatten slightly with fingers.
  7. Bake at 325u0b0 for 25 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly browned.
  8. Cool on a wire rack.
  9. When cool, sprinkle with mixture of confectioners and colored sugar.
  10. Yields 3 1/2 dozen.
