Easy Chili Relleno Casserole Recipe

  1. Beat half and half with eggs and flour till smooth.
  2. Split chilies open, rinse out seeds, drain on paper towels.
  3. Reserve 1/2 c. cheese for topping.
  4. Make alternate layers of cheese, chiles and egg mix in deep 1 1/2 qt casserole.
  5. Pour tomato sauce over top.
  6. Sprinkle with reserved cheese.
  7. Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees.
  8. Let set 10 min before serving.
