Blushing Pears

  1. Mix gelatin mixes and water in Dutch oven.
  2. Bring to boil on medium-high heat; cook 2 min.
  3. or until gelatin is completely dissolved, stirring frequently.
  4. Add pears; partially cover pan with lid.
  5. Simmer on medium-low heat 20 min.
  6. or just until pears are tender, stirring after 10 min.
  7. Remove pears from liquid; discard pear liquid or reserve for another use.
  8. (See tip.)
  9. Serve topped with COOL WHIP.
