Chocolate Ice Cream Syrup

  1. In a heavy saucepan over low heat of double boiler over simmering water, melt the chocolate.
  2. Add butter; cook and stir until melted.
  3. Add sugar alternately with milk, stirring constantly.
  4. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring often.
  5. Serve warm over ice cream.
  6. Refrigerate leftovers.
