Bananas Grilled in their Peels with a Honey-Rum Glaze

  1. Preheat a grill.
  2. In a bowl, blend rum, honey, and cinnamon.
  3. Reserve.
  4. Over direct medium heat, grill bananas, cut side down for 3 minutes, or until the bananas develop visible grill marks.
  5. Turn bananas and brush with honey-rum mixture.
  6. Continue grilling, with lid down, for 5 minutes, or until bananas are cooked throughout.
  7. Remove, discard peel, and serve immediately with ice cream.
