Cerca De Piedra

• 2 cups apple cider
• 1 habanero chile, halved
• 1 cup reposado tequila
• Ice
• Mezcal (optional)

1. In a pitcher, combine the cider and habanero and refrigerate until spicy, about 1 hour.
2. Strain the cider and stir in the tequila.
3. Serve in tall glasses over ice.
4. Top with a splash of mezcal if desired.
