sweet potato paratha

  1. Steam the sweet potato for 5 mins in microwave and peel off the skin.
  2. Prepare a soft dough using flour and water.
  3. While dough is resting, mash the steamed potato and add jaggery.
  4. Take a small ball of dough- roll it flat roughly.
  5. Grease a little ghee and spread the filling in middle and close the ends.
  6. Lightly press the ball in dry flour and roll it thin.
  7. Put it on a preheated girdle and cook it one side till light brown, then turn and apply ghee .
  8. similarly smear ghee on other side and keep on flipping every 5 sec till both the sides are cooked.
  9. Cut the paratha in 8 pcs and serve with date syrup.
