Grilled Pork Ribs with BBQ Sauce
- 3 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 3 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 2 teaspoons Paprika
- 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 4 pounds Babyback Ribs
- 1 bottle (16 Oz. Size) Your Favorite BBQ Sauce, Use As Much As Desired For Basting
- Combine all the dry ingredients (salt through brown sugar) in a small bowl.
- Then rub the pork ribs with the spice rub and wrap the ribs tightly in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Remove the plastic wrap and wrap ribs in aluminum foil.
- Bake ribs for about two hours.
- Remove ribs from oven, drain any liquid from the foil wrappers and cool ribs completely.
- Wrap ribs in new foil and chill completely.
- Cold ribs will keep their shape when they are returned to the grill to be finished with BBQ sauce.
- I use a gas grill so I typically cook my ribs at a high heat setting.
- Depending on your grill you may want to adjust your temperature for its best grilling conditions.
- Remove your cooked ribs from the refrigerator, discard the foil wrapper and place your ribs on the grill.
- Baste often with the sauce of your choiceeither homemade or purchased.
- The ribs should begin to develop a beautiful gloss after about 10 minutes.
- At this point place them on a serving platter, separate the ribs and serve with additional sauce.
