- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons dried lavender flowers
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 Pt.blueberries
- Bring water and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and stir in lavender, then steep 30-40 minutes Pour syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, discarding lavender.
- Stir in lemon juice and blueberries.
- Spoon berries and syrup over slices of Angel Food for lower cal or pound cake just before serving.
- A little whipped cream or vanilla ice cream goes great.
