Steen's Cane Syrup Glazed Ham

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Lower oven shelf to the bottom level.
  3. Using a sharp knife, cut several slits into the ham.
  4. Stick the cloves in the slits.
  5. Place in a roasting pan with a rack, and put into the oven.
  6. Bake 4 hours.
  7. Prepare the glaze: Combine all the ingredients and set aside.
  8. Periodically throughout the baking, baste ham with the glaze, using a pastry brush.
