Tostada Pizza

  1. In a large skillet cook ground beef until brown.
  2. Drain off fat.
  3. Stir in the water, chile peppers, taco seasoning mix, and chili powder.
  4. Bring to boiling and reduce heat.
  5. Simmer, uncovered, 15 to 20 mins or until most of the liquid is evaporated.
  6. Preheat oven to 400
  7. Grease baking sheet and sprinkle with cornmeal.
  8. Press pizza dough into 12x18 inch rectangle on prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 5 mins
  10. In a small bowl, mash beans with fork.
  11. Spread beans over crust to within 1/2 inch of edges.
  12. Spoon meat mixture over beans.
  13. Bake about 10 mins or just until crust is golden.
  14. Sprinkle with cheese.
  15. Bake for 1 to 2 mins or until cheese is melted
  16. Top with lettuce, tomato and green onions.
  17. If desired, serve with taco sauce
