Chocolate Pudding Cake
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 1-1/3 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1-1/3 tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 cup brown sugar
- 6 tbsp. cocoa
- 3 cups boiling water
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder together.
- Add milk and mix.
- Melt chocolate and butter together in a separate dish.
- Cool slightly then add to the cake batter and mix well.
- Pour mixture into a buttered 9x13-inch pan.
- Sauce: Combine sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa together and sprinkle over the cake batter.
- Carefully pour boiling water over the top.
- Bake 40 minutes.
- Serve warm plain or with ice cream or whipped cream.
