Hearty Beef Chowder Recipe

  1. Pour water on potatoes; let stand 10 min.
  2. Cook and stir onion in butter in 3-qt saucepan over medium heat till light brown, about 2 min.
  3. Stir in flour; cook and stir 1 minute.
  4. Stir in lowfat milk gradually.
  5. Drain potatoes; rinse.
  6. Stir potatoes, corn (with liquid), dry beef, salt, lemon pepper and celery salt into lowfat milk mix.
  7. Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
  8. Simmer uncovered till beef and vegetables are warm, about 2 min.
  9. 4 servings
