Herb Sour Cream Bread Recipe

  1. Put hot water into a large hot bowl.
  2. Sprinkle in yeast, stir till dissolved.
  3. Add in lowfat sour cream, butter, sugar, salt, spices and Large eggs.
  4. Beat in 3 c. flour till well blended, about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in sufficient flour to make a soft dough.
  6. Cover, let rise till doubled, about 50 min.
  7. Stir down.
  8. Turn into 2 greased 1-qt casseroles.
  9. Cover, let rise in hot place till doubled, about 50 min.
  10. Bake at 375 degrees about 35 min.
  11. Remove from pans and cold on racks.
  12. Makes 2 loaves.
