30 Minutes To Homemade SURE.JELL Strawberry-Banana Split Freezer Jam

  1. Rinse clean plastic containers and lids with boiling water.
  2. Dry thoroughly.
  3. Combine exactly 2 cups crushed strawberries and 1/2 cup mashed bananas in large bowl.
  4. Stir in sugar and lemon juice; let stand 10 min., stirring occasionally.
  5. Add chocolate syrup; mix well.
  6. Mix water and pectin in small saucepan.
  7. Bring to boil on high heat, stirring constantly.
  8. Boil and stir 1 min.
  9. Add to fruit mixture; stir 3 min.
  10. or until sugar is dissolved and no longer grainy.
  11. (A few sugar crystals may remain.)
  12. Fill all containers immediately to within 1/2 inch of tops.
  13. Wipe off top edges of containers; immediately cover with lids.
  14. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours.
  15. Jam is now ready to use.
  16. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or freeze extra containers up to 1 year.
  17. Thaw in refrigerator before using.
