Smoked Salmon Pizza
- 1/4 cups Olive Oil
- 4 whole Sliced, Medium Red Onions
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Dill
- 2 Tablespoons Thinly Sliced Scallions
- 1 whole Precooked Pizza Shell (Boboli Or Homemade)
- 4 ounces, weight Smoked Salmon
- 13 cups Sour Cream
- Salt And Pepper
- 1 bunch Fresh Dill, Cut Into Sprigs, For Garnish
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
- Heat olive oil.
- Add onions and cook 1520 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine herbs and scallions, set aside half for garnish.
- Add remaining half to the sauteed onions.
- Spread onions onto the pizza shell.
- Bake 8-10 minutes.
- Remove skin from salmon and break into bite-sized pieces.
- Top pizza with salmon and dollops of sour cream.
- Bake for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with herb mixture.
- Garnish with fresh dill.
- For variety, you can add sliced red and yellow pepper strips or fresh spinach.
