Asian Mushroom Appetizer Recipe
- 1 lb small to medium white mushrooms
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 4 x garlic cloves peeled, minced Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste Splash of sesame oil
- 4 Tbsp. minced parsley
- Put mushrooms, water, vinegar, soy sauce and garlic into a saucepan with a tight-fitting lid; cover and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer about 15 min.
- Uncover and simmer till the liquid is reduced by half.
- Add in pepper and a splash of sesame oil.
- Toss with parsley.
- Serve with toothpicks.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
