Sliced Steak with Bold Pepper Sauce
- 1-1/4 qt. red peppers, thinly sliced
- 1-1/4 qt. green peppers, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cups A.1. Original Sauce
- 3/4 cup dry sherry
- 4 each boneless beef top round steaks, 3/4 inch thick King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.77 thru 02/09
- Saute peppers in oil in large skillet 5 min.
- or until crisp-tender.
- Stir in steak sauce and sherry.
- Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 5 min., stirring occasionally.
- Keep warm.
- Grill steak over medium-high heat 4 to 6 min.
- on each side for medium doneness (160F).
- Cut into thin slices; keep warm.
- For each serving: Plate 3 oz.
- sliced steak; top with about 1/3 cup of the steak sauce mixture.
