Lightly Pickled Cucumbers

  1. Slice cucumber and put in container.
  2. A teaspoon of sugar also gives it a nice touch.
  3. Add seasonings.
  4. Cover with lid and shake.
  5. Turn over pieces from time to time.
  6. If using a bag, rub the cucumbers.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator.
  8. Wait for at least an hour.
  9. You could make this in the morning to have for dinner.
  10. I also tried this with turnips.
  11. They took longer to pickle than cucumbers.
  12. I'll create a different recipe for the turnips another time.
