Jalepeno and Bacon Turkey Burger
- 3 slices Bacon
- 1- 1/4 pound Ground Turkey Breast
- 23 cups Part-skim Ricotta Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Chopped Jalapenos, Fresh Or Jarred
- 1/2 cups Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Grill Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Emeril Original Essence Seasoning
- 4 whole To 6 Whole Hamburger Buns, Depending On The Size Of Your Burgers
- Optional Burger Toppings: Guacamole, Lettuce, Red Onion, Red Bell Pepper, Tomatoes, Salsa, Ketchup, Mustard
- Cut the bacon into 1/2 pieces and fry in a skillet over medium heat until crisp.
- Remove from the skillet and drain bacon on paper towels.
- Combine all ingredients (including the bacon) in a medium bowl and mix just until all ingredients are combined.
- I use my hands as though making meatloaf.
- Dont over-mix, but be sure the ingredients are distributed evenly.
- Pat into 6 small/medium burgers or 4 large.
- Prepare the grates on a grill by brushing with canola oil and preheat on high reaching a temperature of 375 degrees F.
- Reduce the heat on grill to medium and place turkey burgers on grill.
- Close lid and cook for 6 minutes.
- Turn and cook another 6 minutes on the other side.
- Remove burgers from the grill and cover with foil for 5 minutes.
- (If making 4 large burgers, allow extra time for cooking additional 3-4 minutes per side.)
- While the burgers rest, toast the bread/buns and serve with toppings of choice.
- Suggested toppings: Guacamole, lettuce, red onion, red bell pepper, tomatoes, salsa, ketchup, mustard.
