Chicken Casserole Ii Recipe
- 1 chicken, cooked and deboned
- 1/2 pound egg noodles, cooked
- 1 med. onion
- 1/2 c. celery
- 1 sm. can mushrooms
- 1/2 c. cashews (optional)
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
- Lowfat milk
- 1 can French fried onions
- Saute/fry onion and celery in butter.
- Remove from heat and add in liquid removed mushrooms and cashews.
- Add in to chicken and noodles.
- Mix together cream of mushroom soup and Cheddar cheese soup with a little lowfat milk, and add in to chicken and noodles.
- Add in more lowfat milk if needed.
- Bake for 25 min in 350 degree oven.
- Top with 1 can French fried onions and bake 5 min more.
- Can be made ahead.
