For Bentos: Easy Microwave Tamagoyaki (Rolled Omelette)
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Dashi stock granules
- Put the sugar and dashi stock granules into a deep plate or bowl.
- Add 1 tablespoon of hot water and stir to dissolve the sugar and dashi granules.
- (I bought the tiny whisk in the photo at a 100 yen shop.
- I use it all the time.)
- Add the egg and mix well.
- Microwave for 1 minute.
- Take out and mix up the egg mixture.
- Microwave for another minute.
- Take it out, and cut into portions.
- Done!
- Note: Our microwave oven operates at 500 W.
