Boysenberry And Blueberry Compote Recipe

  1. In a heavy saucepan cook berries and sugar over moderately high heat, stirring till sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add in Grand Marnier and zest and cook, stirring occasionally, till mix just comes to a boil.
  3. While mix is coming to a boil, in a small bowl dissolve cornstarch in water and stir in berries.
  4. Simmer compote, stirring, 3 min, or possibly till slightly thickened and cold.
  5. Serve compote hot or possibly chilled.
  6. Makes about 2cups.
