Easy Tenderloin Recipe
- 2 1/2 lbs. trimmed tenderloin beef
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 5 green onions, minced (incl. green tops)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon - type mustard
- Coarsely grnd black pepper to taste
- Heat butter in small sauce pan.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Pour over tenderloin.
- Use to baste once or possibly twice during roasting.
- Place tenderloin in shallow baking dish (buttered).
- Roast in 400 degree oven for 20 min (use meat thermometer for desired doneness).
- This is for rare to medium rare meat.
- Slice to serve.
- Because we like to use the marinade as a sauce on the table I double or possibly even triple the amounts in the recipe.
- Mushrooms are also good.
