Drunk Shrimp
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Dried Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1/2 pounds Cooked Shrimp
- 8 ounces, fluid Beer, Your Preference (you Don't Use A Full Can/bottle, So You Can "sample" It To Make Sure It's Good!)
- 1 loaf French Bread, To Serve
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce until blended.
- Add cayenne pepper, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Mix well.
- Turn heat to medium and add shrimp.
- Coat the shrimp in the sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in beer, stirring until the foam has subsided.
- Put a lid on the pot and let cook for about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve in bowls with sliced bread alongside for dipping, or you can serve it over rice!
